Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: 05/13/2019Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $33.00 - 38.00

BILLINGS, MONTANA. START DATE: 5/13/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Sunday 12-1030, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 230-1100pm, plus call and holidays, as needed. REQUIRED SKILLS: In this position, the CT/Radiologic Technologist performs CT/X-Ray procedures in order to obtain desired imaging results according to physician's specifications that includes, but is not limited to, transferring patients for examinations, ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and assisting with the CT/X-Ray examination process. Responsible for appropriate operation of all CT/X-Ray Imaging and related equipment. Appropriately educates, positions, immobilizes and performs CT/X-Ray procedures. Coordinates CT/X-Ray examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care. Understands and follows provider Imaging orders correctly. Submits required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation. Appropriately evaluates image quality. Open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists and leadership. Appropriately utilizes, charges and maintains department supplies. Practices sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Safely performs CT/X-Ray procedures including patient transfer. Prepares and administers contrast according to Radiologist protocol. Follows Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety.
