A healthcare organization in the Boston, MA area is looking for a Radiation Therapist – Radiation Oncology to join its oncology team!

Responsibilities:

• Administer accurate radiation treatments according to physician prescriptions

• Operate and properly position radiation therapy equipment

• Ensure correct patient positioning and treatment setup

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during treatment

• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation

• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals

• Follow established radiation safety and treatment protocols

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiation Medicine program required

• Current Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license required prior to start

• Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and equipment

• Ability to accurately position patients and prepare treatment equipment

• Strong analytical and patient care skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
