Interventional Radiology Technologists - Southern Alabama

A healthcare organization in Southern Alabama is looking for Interventional Radiology Technologists (IR Techs) to join its growing imaging team!

• Exposure to vascular, surgical, and neuro-interventional procedures

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures

• Support angiography, biopsies, and vascular interventions

• Assist with guidewire and catheter-based procedures

• Perform scrub, monitoring, and fluoroscopy duties

• Operate single-plane and biplane imaging equipment

• Support procedures in IR, vascular surgery, operating rooms, and the neuro-interventional lab

• Follow radiation safety and sterile technique protocols

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• ARRT registration required

• 2+ years of imaging experience required

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology education program

• CPR and ACLS certifications within six months of hire

• ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification preferred

• Undergraduate degree preferred

• Ability to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

• Experienced imaging technologists interested in IR cross-training are encouraged to apply!
