Job Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Alabama for permanent and full-time hire -
Supports diagnostic and interventional procedures across IR, vascular surgery, OR 28, and the neuro-interventional lab. Duties include angiography and interventions, imaging during biopsies, guidewire and catheter procedures, and functioning in scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy roles using single- and biplane equipment.
- ARRT registration.
- Two or more years of imaging experience.
- An approved radiologic technology education pathway; the description also references an RCIS pathway, which should be clarified for any RCIS-only candidate.
- CPR and ACLS within six months of hire.
- ARRT vascular-interventional certification and an undergraduate degree preferred.
- Call response to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification.
