Job Description

Radiologic Technologist (CT/X Ray)

Full time role with a three week rotating overnight schedule (7:00pm–7:30am) including call and holiday rotation •

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday • Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday • Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Job Summary Perform high quality CT and radiographic imaging in an acute care environment. Ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and adherence to all protocols. Responsibilities include patient positioning, exam preparation, equipment operation, contrast administration, monitoring for reactions, and maintaining documentation. Strong communication, technical proficiency, and multitasking ability required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and radiographic exams according to established protocols

  • Position patients safely and accurately

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment

  • Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions

  • Document procedures and maintain accurate records

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff

  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition

  • Participate in call and holiday rotation

  • Support departmental quality and performance initiatives

Education Graduate of an approved American Medical Association School of Radiologic Technology

Experience One year of CT experience preferred Graduates of an approved CT/MRI program also considered

Certifications & Licensure ARRT registered in Radiography (R) ARRT registered in Computed Tomography (CT) CT eligible candidates considered with certification required within 12 months Current state Medical Radiographer license BLS required within 3 months of hire

Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to compute exposure factors and manage multiple tasks Competence working with pediatric patients Strong knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and exam abnormalities
