Radiologic Technologist

Location: Northern Virginia Region Setting: Outpatient breast imaging center

About the Role

This Radiologic Technologist position supports a high quality outpatient breast imaging center serving the Northern Virginia region. You’ll perform diagnostic radiographic imaging and assist with mammography workflows in a patient centered, fast paced environment focused on accuracy, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols

• Support mammography workflows, including patient preparation and positioning

• Ensure proper image quality, radiation safety, and equipment functionality

• Document imaging details and patient history in the EMR

• Assist clinical staff with patient flow and exam coordination

• Maintain a professional, patient focused environment

• Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification

• Virginia state license required (or willing to obtain)

• Mammography experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a patient focused outpatient setting

• Commitment to high quality imaging standards and compassionate care
