Radiology Technologist – Northern Maine Region

Overview

A community focused healthcare facility in the Northern Maine region is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This role offers stability, strong teamwork, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close knit rural community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols

  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently

  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication

  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely, accurate imaging

  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and documentation to departmental standards

  • Follow radiation safety and regulatory guidelines

  • Participate in call rotation as assigned

Schedule

  • Full time

  • Varied shifts depending on department needs

  • Call rotation may apply

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible)

  • Maine state license required (or willing to obtain)

  • BLS required

  • Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently
