NEW Director of Diagnostic Imaging Opportunity
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida Area
Schedule: Full-time | Days (No weekends)
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Director of Diagnostic Imaging to lead and oversee imaging services within a busy hospital setting. This leadership role focuses on driving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality patient care across all imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department
- Lead and support technologists and supervisory staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Manage department budget, equipment, and inventory
- Optimize workflow, scheduling, and patient throughput
- Implement policies and best practices to enhance quality and safety
- Promote patient satisfaction and a high standard of care
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of imaging experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Director-level imaging leadership experience required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage operations, staff, and performance improvement initiatives
Education & Licensure:
- Associate’s degree required
- ARRT certification required
