Job Description

NEW Lead Radiologic Technologist Opportunity – Full-Time Days | Northern Vermont

A healthcare facility in northern Vermont is seeking a Lead Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This is a full-time role (80 hours bi-weekly) with hours generally 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies

  • Adapt procedures to meet patient and provider needs

  • Ensure radiation safety and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

  • Complete timely clinical documentation and maintain patient confidentiality

  • Coordinate workflow, support staff training, and promote professional development

  • Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and process optimization initiatives

  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, orderly work environment

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or advanced imaging

  • Active certification in respective modality

  • BLS certification required

  • Strong technical, leadership, and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor staff

Work Environment:

  • Physical demands include lifting, standing, walking, bending, and occasional pushing/pulling

  • Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and radiant energy hazards, and bloodborne pathogens

  • Adherence to PPE and safety protocols
