Job Title: MRI Technologist
Full Time, Shift: 12:30p-9:00 pm
Job Summary
As an MRI Technologist, you will provide a variety of high-quality MRI procedures for all age groups served by the entity. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and diagnostic excellence while maintaining the high standards of care
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence: Perform a wide range of MRI procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring the highest image quality for accurate radiologic diagnosis.
  • Safety & Quality: Strictly adhere to MRI safety protocols to protect patients and staff from magnetic field hazards. Participate in the department’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) process.
  • Patient Advocacy: Ensure customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients, maintaining a comforting and professional demeanor.
  • Documentation: Administer and document contrast agents as prescribed and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensure: Valid Florida State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Certification: Must hold ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registrations. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is required; acute care experience is highly preferred.

Provides a variety of MRI procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Estimated pay range for this position is $36.69 - $47.70 / hour depending on experience.
