NEW Radiation Therapist Opportunity – Direct Hire
Increased Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 (3-year work commitment)
Illinois – Day Shift, No Weekends or Holidays

Position Overview
We’re seeking a Radiation Therapist to join a new and growing Radiation Oncology department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new facility launching in December, with full Varian Halcyon system training provided.
Compensation & Benefits

Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 (3-year commitment)

Relocation Bonus: Discussed during interview (case-by-case)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00a–3:30p or 8:00a–4:30p)

No weekends, holidays, or on-call
Key Responsibilities
-
Review patient charts, prescriptions, and treatment plans.

Assist physicians and physicists in patient simulation, localization, and treatment setup.

Operate CT/Sim, Varian Halcyon linear accelerator, and manage treatment data through Aria RO and Epic EMR.

Explain procedures to patients, monitor treatment sessions, and ensure safety and comfort.

Perform daily QA checks and maintain accurate documentation.

Fabricate custom immobilization and treatment devices.
Qualifications
-
Education: Completion of an approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology.

Experience: 2 years preferred, but new grads are welcome!

Licensure: ARRT (T) certification and Illinois IEMA licensure required.

Skills: Excellent communication, technical precision, and analytical abilities.
