Imaging Supervisor – Radiology
Location: Sanford, NC Area (On site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Supervisor with a strong radiology background to oversee daily diagnostic imaging operations. This critical leadership role ensures optimal workflow, compliance with safety standards, and excellent patient care across radiology modalities.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations in the Imaging Department, ensuring smooth function and quality outcomes.

Supervise and mentor radiologic technologists across modalities—X ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

Manage staff scheduling, workload distribution, and performance appraisals.

Conduct departmental orientation, training, and competency assessments.

Assist in hiring, disciplinary processes, employee development, and scheduling adjustments.

Support policy development and compliance initiatives (e.g., JCAHO, OSHA).

Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and cross-disciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.

Monitor imaging protocols, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance.

Participate in process improvement for operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications

Certification/Licensure: ARRT (or equivalent) in at least one imaging modality; additional modality credentials preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in imaging modalities (e.g., Radiologic Technology, CT, MRI, Sonography); 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred. Human Resources

Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Proficiency with PACS/RIS systems and diagnostic imaging workflows.

Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Education: Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Certifications: Active BLS required.
