Registered Polysomnography Technologist – Night Shift

Job Description

Position Overview

As a Polysomnography Technologist, you will perform overnight sleep studies and provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and patient education under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct overnight sleep studies (PSG, CPAP/BiPAP titrations, MSLT, MWT) in accordance with AASM guidelines

  • Monitor and document patient condition and physiological responses throughout the study

  • Apply and adjust electrodes and monitoring devices for accurate data collection

  • Identify sleep stages, events, and abnormalities; respond to clinical events as needed

  • Score studies in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions

  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the procedure

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and outcomes
