Acute Care Hospital Setting | Cardiac Imaging Department
We’re working with a respected healthcare facility in the Mid-Atlantic region that’s actively seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join its Cardiac Diagnostics team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a motivated technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on patient care.
What You'll Do:

Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic procedures including:

Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler
-
Transesophageal, Exercise Stress & Pharmacologic Echo

Assist with additional cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests

Operate specialized diagnostic equipment and ensure accuracy of all recordings

Accurately complete electronic documentation, scheduling, and billing
-
Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols

Work with neonatal and pediatric patients as needed

Provide preceptorship to students from affiliated training programs

Evening and variable shift schedule; no holiday coverage required
What You’ll Need to Qualify:

High School Diploma or GED required

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)

BLS certification (must be current or obtained prior to start)

Minimum of 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms
-
Completion of a certification program OR 2+ years of hands-on echo experience
-
Pediatric/neonatal echo experience preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
$75,000 – $114,000/year, based on experience and certification level
Evening and variable shifts – full-time schedule with no holiday coverage
