Acute Care Hospital Setting | Cardiac Imaging Department

We’re working with a respected healthcare facility in the Mid-Atlantic region that’s actively seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join its Cardiac Diagnostics team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a motivated technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on patient care.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic procedures including:

    • Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler

    • Transesophageal, Exercise Stress & Pharmacologic Echo

  • Assist with additional cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests

  • Operate specialized diagnostic equipment and ensure accuracy of all recordings

  • Accurately complete electronic documentation, scheduling, and billing

  • Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols

  • Work with neonatal and pediatric patients as needed

  • Provide preceptorship to students from affiliated training programs

  • Evening and variable shift schedule; no holiday coverage required

What You’ll Need to Qualify:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)

  • BLS certification (must be current or obtained prior to start)

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms

  • Completion of a certification program OR 2+ years of hands-on echo experience

  • Pediatric/neonatal echo experience preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
$75,000 – $114,000/year, based on experience and certification level
Evening and variable shifts – full-time schedule with no holiday coverage
