 Acute Care Hospital Setting | Cardiac Imaging Department
We’re working with a respected healthcare facility in the Mid-Atlantic region that’s actively seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join its Cardiac Diagnostics team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a motivated technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and making a direct impact on patient care.
What You'll Do:
-   Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic procedures including: -   Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler 
-   Transesophageal, Exercise Stress & Pharmacologic Echo

-   Assist with additional cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests 
-   Operate specialized diagnostic equipment and ensure accuracy of all recordings 
-   Accurately complete electronic documentation, scheduling, and billing 
-   Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols 
-   Work with neonatal and pediatric patients as needed 
-   Provide preceptorship to students from affiliated training programs 
-   Evening and variable shift schedule; no holiday coverage required 
What You’ll Need to Qualify:
-   High School Diploma or GED required 
-   Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) 
-   BLS certification (must be current or obtained prior to start) 
-   Minimum of 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms 
-   Completion of a certification program OR 2+ years of hands-on echo experience 
-   Pediatric/neonatal echo experience preferred, but not required 
Compensation & Benefits:
 $75,000 – $114,000/year, based on experience and certification level
 Evening and variable shifts – full-time schedule with no holiday coverage
