Location: Manteno, Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time, Primarily Night Shifts

Position Overview

As an integral member of our sleep medicine team, the RPSGT conducts and oversees diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies (e.g., PSG, MSLT, CPAP titrations), ensures high-quality data scoring, collaborates with physicians, and maintains equipment and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct attended, in-lab polysomnography and titration studies; score and analyze data accurately.

  • Prepare and maintain equipment; perform nightly calibration and troubleshoot issues.

  • Monitor patients overnight, adjust interfaces (e.g., CPAP) safely.

  • Educate patients and families on procedures and follow-up protocols.

  • Maintain patient records, QA logs, and comply with HIPAA, AASM, BRPT regulations.

  • Participate in research, staff training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited polysomnography program (≥ 1 year Associate) OR CRT/RRT/Neurodiagnostic Tech credentials.

  • RPSGT certification OR eligibility to achieve RPSGT within two years.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.

  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
