Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Matthews, North Carolina
Job Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time]
Department: Radiology / Imaging Services
Reports To: Imaging Supervisor / Radiology Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and radiation safety protocols, providing high-quality images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically skilled, and works well in both team and independent settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols

  • Properly position patients and use protective devices to ensure safety

  • Operate radiographic equipment and ensure images are of diagnostic quality

  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in PACS and EMR systems

  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment

  • Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards

  • Communicate clearly with patients and staff, and provide a compassionate experience

  • Assist in maintaining inventory and supplies for the imaging department

  • Participate in call rotation or shift coverage, if applicable

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required

  • BLS certification required

  • Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
