Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The successful candidate will perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with circulatory disorders. The technologist will work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and diagnostic accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic procedures, including carotid duplex, arterial and venous Doppler studies, ABI testing, and other related exams.

  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.

  • Acquire diagnostic-quality images while adjusting technical factors as needed.

  • Evaluate ultrasound findings and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.

  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in PACS and EMR systems.

  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning properly and participate in quality control protocols.

  • Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures.

  • Assist with patient scheduling and contribute to the efficiency of the vascular lab.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or vascular technology program.

  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) through ARDMS or RVS certification through CCI required.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a vascular lab setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
