NEW Permanent CT Tech opening near Charleston, SC!
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Computerized Tomography Technologist to perform CT diagnostic procedures as prescribed by the radiologist. Working under the guidance of the medical imaging management team, you will play a crucial role in patient care by utilizing your expertise in diagnostic imaging, scheduling, transportation, and inventory management.
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate diagnostic equipment, verify images, and set up the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Ensure the production of high-quality CT scans to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Perform CT exams on various body parts efficiently.
- Complete required history forms and technologist exam sheets.
- Start IVs and check labs as necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology and CT Technologist is highly preferred.
- Must obtain certification as a Registered Computerized Tomography Technician or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) within 60 months of employment start date.
**Types of Services:** CT/ Pediatric CT, PET/CT, Cardiac CT
