Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM with rotating weekend call

MRI Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Maine. As an integral part of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to aid in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain MRI equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Obtain and review patient medical history to ensure accurate imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss and plan patient care.
• Evaluate the quality of images and ensure they meet diagnostic standards.
• Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions during the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Maine.
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
