Our client just outside of New York City is in need of Ultrasound Technologists to join their team. Candidates must be ARDMS certified and have New York State licensure. Flexibility, Organization, Adaptability, Attention to Detail, and Stress Tolerance is required. This location features a thriving shopping area including upscale malls. Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologists:
- Performs routine and some special procedure imaging, diagnostic and medical sonograms
- Assists Radiologists when needed
- Assumes responsibilities for designated areas and /or procedures and produces good technical images
- Prepares patient for procedures
Requirement for the Ultrasound Technologists:
- Satisfactory completion of a certified ultrasound program or Limited Permit/certificate. (ARDMS eligibility after 1 year from graduation and 1000 clinical hours)
- ARDMS certification
