MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)
StartDate: 07/11/2022Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $1700.00 - 2050.00

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures and patient care requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service. Has responsibility for all aspects of MRI Imaging procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum MRI scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.Performs all duties and responsibilities consistent with Mercy’s mission, vision and values.Education: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic TechnologyCertification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT MR registry within 1 year of hire or transfer to MRI Dept. Current BLS certification. Licensure: Arkansas Radiologic Technologist LicenseBLS - requiredR.R.A. - requiredExperience: One year of radiologic/imaging experiencePreferred Experience: Prefer experience and training in MRIPreferred Certifications: ARRT (MR)Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: This individual must be capable of: manipulating patient transfer equipment; lifting, moving and transporting patients’ continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to fast pace daily work load; communicating effectively.

Required Qualifications
ARRT (MR)
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT MR registry within 1 year of hire or transfer to MRI Dept.
Current BLS certification.
Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
R.R.A. - required
