Radiation Therapist, Proton Experience

Our client in the Greater Atlanta Metro area is seeking a Radiation Therapist with proton radiation experience to join their staff. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the area’s premier healthcare systems, and one of the top employers in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist:

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and within established safety guidelines and department policies
• Prepare equipment and treatment room for patients according to plan parameters
• Responsible for point-of-care testing, and safe transfer of patients both pre and post-procedure

Requirements for the Radiation Therapist:

• Successful completion of accredited Radiation Therapy program with a minimum of one year of work experience
• Active certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Proton radiation experience required
• ARIA and ProBeam experience are both preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as treatment schedule/patient needs require
