Job Summary:

Our outpatient health center is seeking a skilled Director of Radiology - Generalist (preferred background in Mammography) to provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians, and customers in and outside the Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently under normal and emergency circumstances.

Schedule:

• 5x8 Day Shift, 8a-5p
• Monday - Friday
• No On Call or Weekends

Compensation:

• $85,280 - $106,080 (based on experience)
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
• $6000 Relocation Allowance

Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostic radiology generalist duties, including Mammography duties if qualified, in using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.
• Follow established procedures for patient identification, radiation protection, and patient positioning to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
• Work closely with physicians to ensure the appropriate imaging procedures are ordered and performed.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all procedures performed.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate imaging results.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
