Mammography Technologists operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes. They explain the procedure to patients, position and immobilize the patient's breast in a unit, and observe the scanning

- "ARRT or ARDMS American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- AART certification and registered in an appropriate supporting category. Followed by 16 hours structured education activities."
- 2 years of experience required
