Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Radiologist and the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of diagnosis which includes positioning the x-ray beam with respect to the patient, anatomically positioning the patient, selecting exposure factors, and initiating exposure. b. Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes

Qualifications

Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program

Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)

Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) American Heart Association BLS

Demonstrated knowledge and abilities with the following: o diagnostic catheterization procedures on patients with known/suspected peripheral vascular disease o procedures which may include pulmonary involvement, including radial, brachial, and neck approaches o stents, thrombolysis procedures, and peripheral interventions
