Job Description
Ghost RX is searching for Cardiac Echo Sonographers to work at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Albuquerque, NM
- 10/24/2022-10/23/2023 with 1 year option to extend
- BLS
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am - 430pm *No weekends; No call
- must have a minimum of two years’ current experience in this field and recent Echocardiography Technician experience in a hospital setting including covering inpatient units
- Siemens experience preferred
The Echocardiography Technician establishes and maintains responsibility for inpatient echocardiography services to medical and surgical patients in the intensive care units, stepdown units, spinal cord injury unit, general medical floors, emergency department and procedural areas such as cardiac catheterization suite as needed.
Experience in Adult Echocardiograph Services. Able to perform independently Transthoracic echocardiography, Stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, 3D echocardiography, and bubble study. 4.2.1.3. Possesses knowledge of utilizing appropriate Infection Control practices (Donning and Doffing practices) and wearing appropriate PPE at all times while delivering care/treatment to patients throughout Inpatient Units and ED
