We are currently seeking a qualified and self-motivated CT/Radiology Technologist to work in a hospital setting in Odessa, TX!
Job Details:
The CT/X-Ray Tech will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CAT/MRI procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. He/she will function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. The Provider will participate in Performance Improvement activities and provide service to all ages ranging from neonate to geriatric.
- This is a 13 week travel assignment with the option to extend
- Shift: Nights 3p-11a M-F (will work one major holiday)
- On call once a month
Requirements:
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience preferred
- Prefer specific experience and training in CT
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certification in CT within 24 months of moving into the CT position RT, (R), (CT)
- Current BCLS certification
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency with most major CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens)
