Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist - Corpus Christi, TX

A healthcare organization in the Corpus Christi, TX area is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Function Technologist to join its outpatient pulmonary diagnostics team!

This is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking to pick up additional work alongside their current job, with flexible weekday scheduling and no nights, weekends, or holidays!

Position Highlights:

• Part-time, 1099 independent contractor position

• Flexible scheduling, 1–5 days per week depending on clinic needs

• Monday–Friday daytime hours

• No nights, weekends, or holidays

• Outpatient pulmonary testing in primary care clinics

• Independent work environment with a supportive team

• Local travel to assigned clinic locations

Responsibilities:

• Perform pulmonary function testing, including pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry

• Educate and coach patients through testing procedures

• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients

• Ensure accurate results and upload completed tests for pulmonologist review

• Maintain equipment and follow quality and safety protocols

• Travel to assigned outpatient clinic locations

Qualifications:

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential required

• Previous spirometry or pulmonary function testing experience

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently and travel between clinics

• Flexible weekday availability

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
