CT Technologist – Day Shift | Southeastern Arizona

Permanent & Full-Time Direct Hire
Day Shift | 4-Day Workweek | CT & X-Ray

A hospital-based imaging department located in Southeastern Arizona, approximately 90 minutes southeast of Tucson, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its imaging team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled CT Technologist looking for a consistent daytime schedule and a four-day workweek. The ideal candidate will have prior CT experience and be comfortable performing CT and general radiologic procedures as needed.

A $30,000 sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates who do not require relocation.

Schedule

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Monday through Thursday
  • 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
  • Consistent daytime schedule
  • No regular Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts based on the current schedule
  • Schedule details to be discussed during the interview process

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols.
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as required.
  • Prepare patients for CT and radiographic procedures.
  • Verify patient identification, clinical history, and examination orders.
  • Position patients appropriately for CT and X-ray procedures.
  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Select appropriate imaging protocols based on the examination ordered.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols and applicable requirements.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to contrast reactions and patient emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
  • Perform quality-control procedures and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
  • Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital, departmental, regulatory, and safety policies.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide compassionate and professional patient care.
  • Perform additional CT and radiologic responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Prior CT Technologist experience required.
  • ARRT certification/registry required.
  • Appropriate Arizona radiologic licensure required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform CT examinations.
  • Ability to perform general X-ray procedures as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of CT protocols, positioning, radiation safety, and image quality.
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a hospital-based imaging environment.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance.
