Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology to support the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. This role plays a vital part in improving patient outcomes by producing high-quality cross-sectional images while adhering to strict safety and radiation protection standards.

Working closely with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams, the CT Technologist performs CT scans while ensuring proper patient positioning, protocol selection, and contrast administration when appropriate. They are responsible for operating and maintaining CT equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and making real-time adjustments to ensure image accuracy and patient safety.

In addition, the CT Technologist provides clear instructions and compassionate care to patients, helping to ease concerns and ensure a comfortable experience throughout the imaging process. The role also includes reviewing images for quality, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and following all clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines. Through strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care, the CT Technologist supports timely diagnoses and enhances the overall patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
