Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $49/hr – $60/hr

About the Role:
The CAT Scan Technologist performs routine and specialized CT imaging procedures, prepares patients, assists radiologists, ensures proper equipment operation, and maintains safety and quality standards. This role requires adherence to radiation protection protocols, customer service standards, and ongoing continuing education requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and special CT procedures

• Prepare and position patients for imaging

• Assist radiologists as needed

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment

• Process images and maintain accurate documentation

• Follow radiation safety and protection standards

• Perform QA activities and support departmental service standards

• Maintain professional judgment and patient care standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography or allied health program

• NY State DOH licensure or limited permit required

• ARRT (RT) certification required

• CT certification or CNMT with CT experience accepted

• Must obtain advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire

• BLS (AHA) required or must be completed within 90 days

• DOH IV certification preferred or obtained within 6 months
