Join our esteemed healthcare facility in Brownwood, Texas, dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Tech specializing in CTA Coronary procedures to join our dynamic team.


Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proficient Full-Time CT Technologist with specialized expertise in performing Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment to obtain high-quality images of patients' hearts and blood vessels, specifically focusing on coronary imaging. This individual will work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure accurate and precise diagnostic imaging.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Coronary CTA procedures using CT equipment with precision and adherence to established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for scans, ensuring their comfort, safety, and compliance with procedure requirements.
  • Position patients correctly and administer contrast agents as needed for optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and address any concerns or complications that may arise.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and analyze imaging results.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist in Texas.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in performing Coronary CTA procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of CT imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to cardiovascular imaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
