(Archived) Forensic Psychologist
Job Description
Our Forensic Psychologist completes psychological assessments, including competency evaluations, malingering assessments, and risk assessments. Supervises psychology trainees in the provision of individual and group psychotherapy, as well as psychological evaluations and testing. Is a consultative member of the treatment team providing staff education as needed on psychological issues. This position may be assigned responsibilities for developing, monitoring, and implementing behavioral management plans as well as assigned responsibilities for quality assurance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Provides psychological assessments and quality assurance reviews as required. Serves as a consultant to the multidisciplinary teams. Reviews assessments, case presentations, and quantitative and qualitative chart reviews.Provides individual training such as competency groups and psycho-education, as needed. May supervise trainees in these duties.Participates in PI project as required and follows up on all PI recommendations pertaining to responsible area. Supervises and trains the psychology trainees, provides training and education to the rest of the clinical team as needed.May serve on committees as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
- A PhD. or Psy. D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university
Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in clinical psychology, preferred.
- Skilled in organization, supervision, and state of the art treatment interventions
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current license as a Psychologist in the state of practice
