Job Description

Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) to join a hospital sleep lab!

About:

This facility is a 50+bed acute care hospital that handles over 10,000 patients on an annual basis. They belong to a large healthcare network that serves people throughout central New York. Their sleep disorders lab is open 6 nights a week and is operated by licensed and highly skilled Respiratory Therapists and Sleep Techs. The center is complete with private rooms and they are fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Details:

The RPSGT in this role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing patient information from medical records, preparing and calibrating equipment, performing sleep lab testing, fitting PAP masks, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

  • NYC Respiratory Therapist License or RPSGT
  • 2 years experience preferred but will train new grads
