DirectShifts is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in Indianapolis,IN
This is a full time, day shift position. This role is primarily Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm but times may be flexible depending on clinical and research study needs. There is potential for weekend needs.
Will perform clinical research procedures that require a PT; including but not limited to; physical assessments, cast removals, total contact cast or soft cast application, selective debridement and related documentation. Recruit and enroll patients in total contact cast related studies and other studies as needed. Conduct subject screening for enrollment. The PT will also assist the clinical research team in other clinical research related projects as needed. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
Qualification:
- Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in physical therapy; or, if foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
