Physical Therapist Niagara Falls, NY

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice in Niagara Falls, NY. Do you love helping others on their journey of health and wellness? Our clinic offers a large exercise gym, sports room and one of the largest outpatient therapy pools in our area to give you the tools you need to help your patients get better. We are looking for a full-time physical therapist, but we are flexible in creating a schedule that works for you. Have access to a broad range of patients and a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Will evaluate and treat patients through manual therapy, therapeutic training, neuromuscular training, and functional training.

Duties:

  • Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results
  • Establish physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with referring physicians
  • Implement treatment based on evaluative findings and physician referral
  • Perform all appropriate physical therapy procedures utilizing state of the art manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and functional training to help restore patients to their prior level of function.
  • Administer adjunctive procedures such as therapeutic modalities and assistive device training to manage pain and enhance recovery
  • Evaluate the effects of treatment/progress and modify care on an ongoing basis to maximize recovery
  • Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing effective home exercise programs
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient records
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical therapy program
  • PT license in NY
  • Experience working in an outpatient Musculo-skeletal practice a plus

Schedule:

  • Full time (flexible schedule)

Compensation:

  • $55k- $65k (depending on experience)
