Job Description

Location: Chicago, IL (Lakeview).
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year.
Job Type: Full-time.
Invest in Your Clinical Foundation without the Burnout.
Are you a new or recent DPT graduate passionate about pediatrics but worried about high-volume productivity requirements?
At WellTech Partners, we prioritize clinical excellence over patient quantity. We are seeking a Pediatric PT to join our team in a role specifically designed to bridge the gap between graduation and expert practice through structured, 1:1 mentorship.
The Mentorship Advantage
Unlike traditional "Residency" programs that may offer lower pay, we provide a competitive salary with a structured mentorship framework designed for your first year:
- Protected 1:1 Mentorship: Weekly scheduled time with senior clinicians to review cases and refine manual skills.
- Collaborative Care: Work directly alongside OTs and SLPs in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Gradual Onboarding: A ramp-up period that prioritizes learning your caseload over meeting billing targets.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- 1:1 Patient Care: No double-booking. Spend a full hour with every child to ensure the best outcomes.
- True Work-Life Balance: Full-time status is achieved with 30–32 clinical hours per week, giving you ample time for documentation and professional development without staying late.
- Modern Facilities: Practice in a state-of-the-art clinic designed specifically for pediatric engagement and sensory-rich therapy.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (based on experience).
- Comprehensive Health: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
- Financial Security: 401(k) with company matching.
- Professional Growth: Continuing education stipend and paid licensure renewals.
- Generous PTO: Paid time off plus paid holidays.
What You Bring to the Team
- Education: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Illinois PT license (or eligible to sit for the NPTE).
- Passion: A genuine desire to work with the pediatric population and a "growth mindset" regarding your clinical skills.
- Communication: Ability to partner with parents and caregivers to extend the "therapy hour" into the home.
