Job Description

Job Type: Full-time, 4-10 hour shifts

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (This is flexible, as well)


Physical Therapy Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient care team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and have experience or a strong interest in outpatient care settings. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's needs and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, therapeutic exercises, and home exercise programs.
  • Utilize Meditech or similar electronic medical record system for documentation and progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and reassess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications of the Physical Therapist:

  • , Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Prior experience in outpatient care settings is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
