Health and Human Performance Specialist- ATC/PT
A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) or Physical Therapy (PT) degree required. Additionally, Strength and Conditioning specialist certification is preferred. Experience in training or rehabilitation of athletes (elite) is desired. Previous charge experience and Healthie documentation experience required.
Start date: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offer
Shift: Will work 5x8 days 8a-5p with maybe some evenings until 7:00 but time will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
Weekend REQ: None
Is on-call REQ? No
Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed.
The Health and Human Performance position will involve non-traditional work hours to accommodate patients, with some evenings or weekends as agreed upon. The position will also involve travel for on-site delivery of services (e.g. school or club team practices) as stated above, development of both virtual and in person offerings, and collaboration with key stakeholders at MUSC with overlapping interests.
Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
Years of experience REQ: 3+years required
Preferred, but not required: Experience with motion capture technology (DARI, Dartfish, etc) and Experience with force plates and recording data

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? yes, travel for on-site delivery of services
Radius rule? Yes, 50 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at $4 less than the posted bill rate
RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager's approval.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for a full 6 months before traveling with any MUSC location.

RN LICENSE: DO NOT NEED SOUTH CAROLINA LICENSE IN HAND, JUST NEED PROOF THEY HAVE APPLIED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION OR CONFIRMATION THAT THEY WILL WALK-THROUGH.

RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process

Hourly rate: $45.50/hr
10% Bonus: If you can complete the application packet and get submitted within 5 business days.
