Sterile Processing Tech

Well-known and respected Arizona health care system is seeking strong Sterile processers for Day and Evening shift in the Phoenix area. Primarily looking for permanent candidate but would consider Temp to Perm. Work alongside some of the best in the industry that are dedicated to providing high quality care with compassion.

Sterile Processing Tech would be responsible for decontaminating surgical instruments and other medical equipment. You will also need to be proficient and be able to assemble, prepare and package surgical instruments and equipment, and processes using various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection.

Sterile Processor must maintain quality control and biological monitoring systems for sterilization processes. You will also answer the telephone and responds to requests for sterile instruments and supplies. As well as prepare and distribute case carts and sterile supplies. Utilizes computer system for case cart stock supply, stock return, and electronic instrument management system.

To qualify for the position the Sterile Processor MUST:

• Be SPD certified CBSPD or CRCST and have completed accredited surgical instrument technician train coarse.
• Have 2 years of SPD experience.
• Be a team player.
