PRN Physical Therapist (PT) in Vernon, AL

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Vernon, AL team on a PRN basis. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and apply advanced clinical skills to provide outstanding care across a variety of patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems to identify functional limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance functional abilities.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as part of treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and home exercise programs to promote long-term wellness.
• Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and responses to interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alabama.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or outpatient settings.
• Specialized training or certifications in orthopedics, neurology, sports rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
