Monday – Friday, No Weekends!

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our growing medical team full time at our busy office in Richmond Hill area of Queens, NY. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with a passion for quality, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a team approach to join our growing organization and participate in defining the pain management practice of the future. We have 2 locations, Richmond Hill/Queens and another 11 miles (20 min) away in New Hyde Park/LI and the incoming PT may be asked to cover both locations.

About us:

Within our multidisciplinary practice, we have a comprehensive system of treatments focused on decreasing pain, restoring function and the quality of life of patients. We believe in treating pain with conservative measures whenever possible. However, when dealing with some health issues, it becomes necessary to try more aggressive treatments and we specialize the most advanced interventional pain management techniques including both ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided injections. We have been relied upon to provide the highest quality of care and our practice continues to grow for the past 8 years! Our dynamic team consists of physicians, NP/PA’s, therapists, and support staff, collaborating with each other to provide the most comprehensive care that our patients need and deserve!

Duties:

  • Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
  • Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
  • Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
  • Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
  • Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
  • Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
  • Collaboration with the healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
  • Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • PT License in NY

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday - Friday

Compensation:

  • $100k
