Acute Care Physical Therapist - Make up to $10,344 per month*

Job Title: Physical Therapist (Hospital – Inpatient Rehab)
Location: Crescent City, CA.
Assignment: 13 weeks | Start date: 9/22

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Crescent City, CA. This is a 13-week hospital-based assignment focused on inpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Compensation

• Travel Rate: $2,778 weekly gross (~$11,112/month)
• Local Rate: $64.65/hr | $2,586 weekly gross (~$10,344/month)
  

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
• Complete and document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Develop and update patient Plans of Care (POC) based on assessment and progress.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
• Provide clinical supervision to PTAs, aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards across all patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• DPT, MSPT or BSPT from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapist License.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus (not required):

• Acute Care, Outpatient, Rehabilitation Hospital, or Pediatrics.
• Manual therapy, wound care, lymphedema management, or dry needling.
• Orthopedics (e.g., post-op rehab, joint replacement, spine, sports injuries).
• Neurology (e.g., stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injury).
• Cardiopulmonary conditions (e.g., CHF, COPD, post-CABG).
