PRN Physical Therapist (PT) in Phenix City, AL

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this as-needed role, the Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall functional independence for our residents. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility

• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment

• Stay current with physical therapy best practices through continuing education
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Active Alabama Physical Therapist license

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred (new graduates welcome)

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
