Position Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Physical Therapist will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall functional ability for our residents. This position is ideal for a compassionate, motivated professional who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and meaningful patient connections.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to residents’ specific needs and goals.

Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.

Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, exercise programs, and continued care strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.

Stay current with developments in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Active Alabama state license as a Physical Therapist.

Experience in a skilled nursing facility, inpatient rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
