Physical Therapist - Long-term Acute Care - (PT - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1150.00 - 1800.00

Provides full-time physical therapy services to a diverse population of clients from pediatric to geriatric, across a wide spectrum of diagnoses and therapy needs. Will be one of four staff physical therapists servicing a large area of western Alaska, primarily consisting of Alaskan Native Americans, from a hospital-based outpatient clinic. Position is primarily outpatient care with some inpatient care included. Requires frequent collaboration with medical providers and strong didactic skills due to Alaska’s Direct Access privilege. Therapist adheres to Physical Therapist standards of care and practice along with JCAHO, OSHA, and Corporate Policies. Therapist applies age specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. Supports Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation’s mission statement.

Facility Location
Bethel is located west of Anchorage, Alaska and can only be accessed by water or air. Annual events in Bethel include a Dogsled Race, a Fair in August and a Traditional Dance Festival in the Spring.
