Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: 03/01/2021Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1550.00 - 1900.00

5+ years of experience. 50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. 24 bed critical access hospital with an outpatient therapy department. Number of Staff - 4 PTs, 4 PTAs (all part-time except one PTA). Patient Ratio- 8-10 patients per day, varies with evaluations and treatments. Type of equipment - standard outpatient therapy equipment, including Swim-Ex pool. EMR - Epic (preferred experience, but not required). MUST HAVE: Active license to practice PT in Indiana, Familiar with Medicare guidelines for outpatient Part B, Comfortable and competent to treat youth through geriatric outpatients with orthopedic, neurologic and sports medicine conditions, Ability to work closely with PT/PTA staff, supervise highly competent PTA staff. PREFER: Experience with Epic EMR preferred, but not required, Ability to evaluate and treat patients with vertigo or vestibular conditions would be beneficial, as this is the skill set of the PT being replaced, Quick learner who can easily learn new processes consistent with the department. PROCEDURES: Evaluations, 10th visit medicare review assessment, treatments, discharge visits, Supervision and oversight, including co-signature when needed for PTA staff, Work closely with OT/ST staff for shared patients, A candidate with acute care experience may be used to assist on the inpatient side when caseload required additional PT staff to help. Scrub Color - Solid grey top and pants. Neutral shoes. Long sleeve shirts worn under scrub top, if desired, must be while or matching grey. Traditional hair color; no unnatural hair colors permitted. No visible tattoos. No visible facial piercings.

Required Qualifications
