Job Summary
The physical therapist supports the mission of the hospital to provide patients with the highest quality of healthcare in a caring atmosphere. The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering physical therapy interventions of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
This is a full-time and permanent position on the day shift.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Georgia
- BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire
- Previous experience as a physical therapist in the acute care setting required
