StaffMed Health Partners is partnering with a leading outpatient physical therapy group in the Phoenix Valley to hire a Physical Therapy Director. What You’ll Lead

Clinic Leadership & Culture
-
Model servant leadership; set standards for compassion, integrity, and accountability.

Coach, mentor, and develop PTs/PTAs/aides; lead 1:1s, huddles, and skills labs.

Partner with the Practice Manager/Owner on staffing plans, onboarding, and retention.

Clinical Excellence & Outcomes
-
Oversee evaluations, plans of care, and evidence-based treatment pathways.

Monitor outcomes, revisit plans, and ensure excellent patient experience and access.

Lead documentation quality, compliance, and timely completion in the EMR.

Operations & Performance
-
Manage clinic KPIs (access, outcomes, schedule utilization, arrivals, units/visit, cancellations).

Optimize templates, coverage, and workflows to maintain a healthy, sustainable pace.

Steward supplies, equipment, and budget awareness; escalate needs proactively.

Growth & Community Presence

Nurture physician and community relationships; champion programs (sports rehab, spine, pelvic health, balance/vestibular, return-to-sport, etc.).

Support local outreach, workshops, and student affiliations.

Direct Patient Care
-
Maintain a reasonable caseload while providing hands-on care and leading by example.

Qualifications
-
Arizona PT license (or eligibility).
-
DPT preferred (MPT considered) from an accredited program.
-
3+ years of outpatient experience with demonstrated leadership/mentorship; prior lead/senior/assistant director experience highly valued.

Strong grasp of evidence-based practice, payer and regulatory requirements, and EMR proficiency.

Excellent communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.
