Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work in our outpatient clinic in Abilene, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and disabilities. This individual should be committed to providing high-quality care and developing personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' physical and functional status.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations, goals, and physician recommendations.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Monitor and reassess patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and techniques for managing pain and improving mobility.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans as per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic or relevant clinical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
